Our analytics cookie

The _ra_uid cookie assigns a random identifier to your browser to measure visits and interactions. It lasts for one year, uses Secure and SameSite=Lax settings, and is set by this website. It is not an advertising cookie.

Analytics events are sent to this website’s /api/data endpoint and processed by our analytics service. Measurements include the page path, referring site, device category and selected link or button interactions. Query strings are excluded from recorded page paths. Analytics are not shared with third-party advertisers.

Exclude your browser

On the live website, open any page with ?ra_ignore=1 added to the URL. This saves _ra_ignore in your browser’s local storage and stops future analytics events in that browser. Exclude this browser from analytics.

To enable tracking again, use ?ra_ignore=0. Re-enable analytics in this browser. Your choice applies to this exact website origin and browser; repeat it on other browsers or devices. Clearing site storage removes the saved choice. Local storage must be available to save the preference.

These controls take effect only where the live tracker is enabled. They do not change settings in an untracked design preview.
